Traxys Group Statement concerning Conflict Minerals Allegations

Luxembourg, April 17, 2025 — Traxys, a leading global physical trader and merchant in metals and natural resources, today responded to a recent report alleging that Traxys has engaged in the illicit sourcing of conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
We categorically deny all such allegations which are without any merit and are not substantiated with any credible evidence. Conversely, Traxys does, in fact, have credible evidence of our due diligence and high standards of compliance with respect to our trading activities in this region.
Traxys is firmly committed to acting ethically and upholding high standards of transparency across all our operations. We vigorously monitor our supply chains to prevent contamination with the illicit trade of minerals. When sourcing minerals, particularly from conflict-affected or high-risk areas, we follow rigorous due diligence measures, including using third-party, independent traceability providers as well as on-the-ground due diligence by our own employees.
Traxys believes responsible trade supports legitimate local industry and fosters sustainable development in the regions we operate. We are committed to continuing to work to establish and maintain responsible trade and exert a positive influence on the supply chain.
